AI and the next generation of teachers 

A well-known educational foundation sought insights into how the next generation of teachers was using AI in the classroom. We conducted a qualitative research panel with teachers aged 23 to 35 to understand their perceptions, motivations, and behaviors in this rapidly moving space. Additionally, we performed visioning exercises to explore "preferred futures" for integrating AI into teaching. Our findings informed the foundation's planning sessions, and our work will continue this fall to further investigate the next generation of teachers and their desired use of AI.
